Projects
This website has been prepared by the “Gian Trust” organization to share the projects of the organization with the general public and to seek advice for ongoing projects so that we can stop the increasing evils in Punjab. The projects of the organization are as follows:
Religious
Through this project, ‘Aao Sikhi Janiye Pehchaniye’ events are being organized in different villages. In these events, poems, lectures and slide shows related to social and religious issues are presented to motivate children towards social welfare and religious activities so that we can save the children of Punjab from going astray. In these events, mostly small children are a part of the program.
Scholarship
Through this project, scholarships are arranged for the children of needy and poor families. Any needy/poor student who gets good marks in studies and cannot pursue higher studies due to poor financial condition, then the institution helps that student through a sponsor so that the student can get more help in completing his studies. The activity of the student who is sponsored by the institution is checked every month.
Social Welafare
By this project organizing camps in different villages and cities, the common people are being motivated to cooperate keeping in mind their duties towards the society. Health related information is being shared and organizations organizing health related camps are being motivated to help. Students are being guided to make their career. Students are informed about the education, courses and government facilities after 10th and 12th. Short films related to environment are shown through the projector. With these films, people will be motivated to keep the environment clean and also water conservation is explained through slide shows.
Music and Marital Arts
Through this project, the institutions provide information about music and Sikh martial arts (Gatka) to the students. Introduction to musical instruments and information about ragas is being provided. The institutions are making efforts to organize music and martial arts classes in the villages.
Gian Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to religious education, social welfare, environmental awareness, career guidance and community service.
